Sylvia Seymour

Sylvia Seymour’s acting roles include a wide variety of parts on both stage and screen. Theatre roles include many of the great classics, such as ‘Lady Bracknell’ and ‘Madame Ranevskya’, and she was directed as ‘Mel’ by the late Sir Harold Pinter in his own play, Moonlight. Film roles include ‘Nurse Pearce’ in Re-Kindle (Marios Hamboulides) and appearing alongside Alison Steadman in The Housewife (Paul Sheeky). On television she featured as ‘Miss Trefusis’ in the final David Tennant Christmas Special of Doctor Who (Euros Lyn), and as prissy Scottish P.A. ‘Helen’ in Clive Hole (James Carter Johnson). She has also featured in several Channel 4 documentaries. Her favourite role to date was starring as ‘Lucy’, the zombie-killing final survivor in the short film Don’t Lose Heart (Matt Mitchell), a rare opportunity for a middle-aged lady to appear as an action heroine!
